  • The purple ribbons which is the colour for Suicide prevention and lavendar sprays.  If anyone wished they could wear both or either/or
  • the sanctuary area in St Anne's Catholic Church  with the specially decorated greenery on the table positioned in front of the sanctuary steps.  Again purple symbolizing suicide prevention.  People if they wished were able to place a lighted tea-light candle for their loved one who had tragically died by taking their own life
  • .........looking down on the lighted candles beside the book, where the names of 48 people who had token their lives through suicide were written and read aloud during the Eucharistic prayer.

  • of Fr John Roberts, Fr Marcus Francis and Fr Dondon Rancho at the conclusion of the Eucharistic Prayer. Some of the 100 people who gathered for Mass said how 'powerful' it was to have the priests concelebrating this Mass expressing their solidarity as priests and how sadly they are all to familiar in working with families whose loved-one has taken their lives through suicide.
